Sol Mate was born out of a necessity that we felt during our travels in Indonesia in 2023. While exploring the beautiful beaches and vibrant coral reefs, we witnessed firsthand the devastating impact that chemical sunscreens and skincare products were having on the environment. The coral reefs were dying, and the sea life was suffering, all due to the harmful chemicals in conventional beauty products.

As I delved deeper into the research, I began to understand the long-term effects these chemicals not only have on the planet but also on our own health. This realization was a turning point. It was then that the vision for Sol Mate came to life.
